Hi
I am Pi, short for Patricia. I have been practicing yoga since I moved to the UK from Portugal, back in 2017. I was lucky then to meet a teacher who inspired me to deepen my practice and see it beyond a mere workout class. It made me realise for, the first time, that I had control over how I reacted to situations and to my emotions, using the power of my own breath.
After a few years practicing asanas (physical postures) and pranayama (breathing), I met my incredible teacher who completely transformed the way I approached yoga and my practice. I started learning about yoga's history and mythology, and started applying yoga philosophy teachings in my life, how I connect with myself, and with those around me. This phase of my life made me want to dive deeper into the practice beyond the asana classes.
In 2024, I decided to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYS) in Hatha Yoga and it made me want to share yoga with the world more than ever. I started by guiding classes for familiy and friends, and to coworkers in my work's office.
I now guide group classes at a studio in West London and private classes across London. My classes are grounding and accessible, designed for all bodies and levels, rooted in the yoga tradition.
I am committed to supporting students who in a rapid changing and higly stimulating world. My classes are an invitation to slow down, look inwards and deepen the connection between the body, mind and breath. This connection helps us better understand the world around us and live more mindfully and intentionally.
